GIS III These maps were created as part of GIS Modeling & Analsys (ENVS 420) coursework End of Quarter Project – Tree Species Migration in Relation to Climate Change Least Cost Path Analysys. I was provided with three DEM files that I reprojected and combined to a raster mosaic. I then resampled the resulting DEM to 50 meter resolution using aggregation to allow faster processing. The rest of the cost analysis was done via model builder. I created a Swill Hillshade from the DEM using raster calculator for the topographic basemap. I then conducted the Least Cost Path analysis by calculating slope, distance to streams, creating a water mask, and a weighted overlay.
